Dr. Errol Nezon has been happily practising Paediatric Dentistry in Toronto since 1980 and is now gratified to be caring for many second generation patients. Dr. Nezon has solely owned and operated his practice attentively caring for his patients since 1987.

 

Dr. Nezon received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Manitoba in 1976.  He then completed a hospital residency program at the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital.  There he cared for medically, physically and mentally challenged patients some of whom received their care under general anaesthesia in the hospital’s operating room.

 

In 1977 Dr. Nezon was appointed Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry’s department of Preventive and Community Dentistry.  He provided dental care to patients in underserviced  remote Northern Manitoba communities, and instructed senior dental students in the treatment of patients on the Peguis Indian Reserve.

 

In 1980 Dr. Nezon completed his specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry concurrently earning a Master of Science Degree.  His master’s thesis research investigated the prevalence of certain plaque organisms in patients with cystic fibrosis.

 

Dr. Nezon became a Diplomate of the American Board of paediatric Dentistry in 1989 after successfully completing a written and oral exam, a case history presentation and an office visit accreditation by the Board of Examiners.  Dr. Nezon became a Fellow of the American Academy of paediatric Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Nezon is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Paediatric Dentists, the Ontario Society of Paediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of paediatric Dentists and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of paediatric Dentistry. Dr. Nezon is a part-time faculty member at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry.  Since 1987 he has been involved in teaching dental students about paediatric dentistry.

 

Dr. Nezon resides in Toronto with his wife Rhonda Dick, his daughter, Dana (a practising Pediatrican), and his Portuguese water dog, Phoebe.  His hobbies and interests include travel, photography, cottage-life, golf, squash, sudoku, and regular weekend naps.
